I'm not saying that George Clooney was the only factor in purchasing this film, but it helped! However, I was genuinely taken over by the storyline which is deep and yet very funny in places which meant that I was not depressed throughout the film. Although George Clooney's performance is, as usual, completely spell bounding (no surprise there), it was his two daughters who actually became the "lead roles". I would highly recommend this film, even if you are not a fan of George!
