The Hunger Games: Catching Fire begins as Katniss Everdeen has returned home safe after winning the 74th Annual Hunger Games along with fellow tribute Peeta Mellark. Winning means that they must turn around and leave their family and close friends, embarking on a "Victor's Tour" of the districts. Along the way Katniss senses that a rebellion is simmering, but the Capitol is still very much in control as President Snow prepares the 75th Annual Hunger Games (The Quarter Quell) - a competition that could change Panem forever.

If you're a fan of the first film/book then its almost a certainty that you'll want to see this one too. I haven't read the books myself but from what my partner says the films depict the storyline well. In the age where the late teens or early-twenties are being focused on as the next wave of actors and actresses its fair to say that not all the young ones in this outing will still be prominent this time next year. However, they do all add something to this film. Overall, highly recommended for any fan of the series but if you haven't seen the first one I would say watch that first or you may feel a little lost - not totally, but enough to miss out on a few things.
I loved these books so much so I was very excited when they were made into films. I waited for the first with anticipation and bought the DVD for my son as a stocking filler and I have done the same with this film too. The price was brilliant as was the delivery time.
