Anyone who has watched this series on BBC4 will know how great this is. Great characterisation, brilliant story, flawless acting. Twenty one-hour episodes of magic. And you have a chance to learn a little Danish, you never know when that might come in handy!
I bought The Killing - Complete Season One after watching series three on catch up TV- despite subtitles, this in an addictive series. Each episode being full of surprises and Sarah Lund is a change from the norm. Great for this cold weather. Beware once you start to watch it - it is hard to stop. I will definitely get series two.
From the opening sequence I was completely hooked and had to watch the whole box set in less than a week! 20 hours of solid enjoyment. Superb acting, brilliant soundtrack, wonderfully twisting and turning plot. Watched it all over again the following week!
Absolutely sublime perfect in every way the script, actors , atmosphere brilliant and of course the theme music and the hauntingly beautiful pernilles theme only one complaint I wish I could watch it again for the first time
The real deal - the american copy is good but the style and content of this series is a cut above the rest. thank the lord for wallander and girl with the dragon tatoo & Spiral that proved we have the appetite for european crime
This is a triumph for SENDIT - marvelous product miles cheaper than all the opposition. i am new to SENDIT and was a bit worried that you were a fantasy company and although you have fantastically good prices, the bos set arrived within the stipulated time and n perfect condition. What to say about the Killing - addictive as a crack cocaine and crystal meth cocktail, brilliant understated acting which knocks Hollywood flash into a cocked hat, brilliant plotting, superb character development, I'm aching for the ending - I want it come but I don't want this to end - save me (when is season 2 out?
Would recommend this to anyone who likes a crime drama. This version is so much better than the American version. It was not a problem reading subtitles and does not detract away anything from the plot. Interesting that different ending to American version. loved every minute!!
The standout tv show of the year. Excellent performances by every member of the cast. This shows the repercussions of a murder on all concerned.

If you have seen the American version this is 10 times better. Each episode had its own twists and turns and you can't wait to watch the next one. You don't even realise you are reading subtitles. I can't wait for the second series to come out!
