The Thing - Blu-ray Review
This blu-ray of the Classic remake THE THING has one of the BEST video transfers I have ever seen for such a older title. The picture quality rivals the prequel that was released years later. The audio is also quite outstanding and in my opinion a worthy demo for showing off your system as well as your 4K TV. Its so realistic that when you watch it, its like you are there yourself. The special features are another major bonus on this disc, the US version is basic barebones unless you have upgrade and buy the scream factory addition but in my opinion, this one is FAR SUPERIOR. DEFINITELY & HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

Must see prequal
The Thing is a great prequal to the original. It tells you everything you want to know about what happened to the Norwegian camp. It features great effects and it is a roller coaster ride from the start.
