The Veho MUVI X-Lapse is the perfect accessory for any film maker who wants to add a unique segment to their movies. This ingenious device enables you to capture a 360° degree sweeping time-lapse image, then when it's edited together it makes an awesome movie effect.
With both male and female standard 1/4 -20 UNC tripod screw threads for mounting cameras or to a tripod, the MUVI X-Lapse is a versatile device that's perfect for lightweight action cameras which feature a continuous photo mode e.g. MUVI HD, GoPro or standard cameras up to 750g. Integral fold out feet will support and balance the weight for cameras that are slightly top heavy.
The MUVI X-Lapse also includes a holder for iPhone and other Smartphones and with the use of widely available smartphone apps even amateur photographers can capture awesome sweeping time-lapse movies. There's also the option to take super wide angle photos using the Muvi X-Lapse to sweep slowly over a panoramic view while your camera or smartphone captures intermittent shots.

I bought the Veho MUVI X-Lapse to work with a timelapse app on my android phone and with a fujifilm camera that has a timelapse function. This product works well with both. However it does only rotate in one direction, it has the workings of a clockwork kitchen timer inside and is supposed to ring a bell when it reaches the end of its arc of travel, however mine doesn't ring. I'm not sure if I am bothered about this or not. I will be using it in public at some point so I will probably be glad it doesn't come accross as a glorified egg timer.
This is a fantastic purchase for anyone interested in creating sweeping, panaramic time-lapses with ease. It's powerful enough to support a DSLR (even with battery pack) and also holds smaller GoPros and smartphones perfectly. The design of the X-Lapse is compact yet ideally suited for all kinds of creative implementation. You can have smooth 360 degree video (which takes one hour to shoot) and with the tripod mount on the base it can also be positioned for more inventive angles and framing. This item is well worth the price. Recommended to all photo nerds!
Worked for 5 seconds then stopped. Zavvi returns system was very good so no issues with them, just a very poor product.
