Been an avid fan of COD since the first Modern Warfare. They usually have a familiar feel to them but this one took a bit more getting used to. The maps are visually impressive and many are huge, which is fine, but means when you first play you get shot a lot by people with stronger loadouts than you (snipers with thermal scopes and the like). Because of the size of the maps it's a little harder to compensate for your lack of knowledge of the locations or your weaker guns than in other recent COD games. It's a shame there isn't an equivalent of Hijacked or Nuketown to balance out the bigger environments. Also, when you're trying to figure out where the players are who keep popping your skull from half a mile away, the new Sat Com system often isn't much use compared to the usual UAV most COD fans are used to. However, when you begin improving your own loadouts, the game feels more balanced and a lot more enjoyable as a result. My only gripe with the new loadout system is it seems to take quite a while to earn enough 'squad points' to level up enough to really make a difference. First you have to unlock the gun, then it's more points for a sight and more for your next attachment and so on. Having said that, when you do begin to level up, the squad points flow a bit quicker. Also worth mentioning I bought the Hardened version which includes the season pass. Based on the usual cost of the DLC, this made the Hardened version a no-brainer, especially at the offer price. Overall, another great COD game and I'm looking forward to upgrading to the PS4 version in the future.

Hardened Edition is the way to go; it features the season pass and a steelbook case with a few extra's. This episode has got bigger maps with a lot of possible places to expect the enemy, so imo Ghost isn't ideal for run and gun gameplay.

I am very happy with this item. I received it within a couple of days of ordering. It was packaged well, sealed item which is why I buy online as to me this is brand new. A great game but a lot of camping is done in this unfortunately. But this game is a arcade first person shooter but fun all the same a lot better than Black Ops 2! Looking forward to the DLC maps!

Best price for hardened edition since release. Packaging is hit and miss, sometimes boxed but mostly jiffy bag which results in knocks and damage. Customer service is slow email (next day usually) and painful when no understanding from their end re packaging.

Call of Duty: Ghosts - Hardened Edition is a great game.
