London 2012 - The Official Video Game of the Olympic Games brings you the entirety of the greatest sporting event in the world, released by SEGA in partnership with International Sports Multimedia (ISM), the exclusive licensee of the International Olympic Committee (IOC). This game is here to extend the incredible legacy to you, allowing you to take part in this honourable event right in your own home.
There are over 45 of the official Olympic events in this game, giving you a wide variety to choose from as you set out to win the gold. Several events have been introduced here that haven't before appeared in an Olympic sporting game, such as keirin (cycling), the 10m synchronised platform diving, and the trampoline, amongst others. These events are made all the more real by the select few being compatible with motion control for the Playstation Move and Kinect for the XBOX, allowing you to truly mould yourself in to the Olympic athlete you are.
There are four modes to play these events in: Olympic Mode, Events Mode, Online Mode, and Party Play. This variety of modes allows you to compete in every way possible against your friends, family, and the world. With every medal you win for your country you earn National Pride points, and all of this is displayed on a global online leaderboard, meaning you're competing for both personal and national glory. No pressure!

Well, I always wanted to be at the Olympic games and beat Forrest Gump. For now, I must be satisfied with the game.
London 2012: The Official Video Game of the Olympic Games is great value game for all the family. Controls are much easier than previous Olympic PS3 games too (e.g. Beijing / Athens), which means that each event is easy to pick up and play. Different game modes and online play options add variety to the game. Since buying it my 12 year old son hasn't played anything else! Great fun for a competitive Dad/Son to play!

Great game for all the family! A game that includes skill, timing and a will to win and is good using a PS3 controller or PlayStation Move. Worth buying to play with your mates online of off. At times can get repetitive but is worth the purchase!
Olympic game is good though just what you expect. pretty similar to the Beijing one I used to play. Once you get the hang of it it can be easy to play. Some events are not good, some are hard depending on what you like and don't like.

This game is fairly simple to pick up and play - good tutorials. Not a lot of skill is required, as it's mostly down to timing, but the graphics, presentation and commentary are excellent. All screenshots are from the actual venues. If you have move controllers it makes it even more fun.
Great game
