GTA with martial arts
Sleeping Dogs is a brilliant game set in Hong Kong. The game really captures the experience of China police chases GTA style with martial arts. It's a must for any gamer that loves free roam games and the price is a bargain

Solid Game
Sleeping dogs is a solid game , what it offers is a round about 25 hour game. It could be related to GTA but i personally dont agree, in Sleeping Dogs melee combat is where its aimed and at and where it shines, you can tell that producers put a lot of effort and money into melee combat. storyline is serious but still having the occasional funny scene to cheer things up. Sleeping Dogs is like a open world filled with mini games sided from the main missions. With the price this is definitely a game to try whether you've played open world games.

Fantastic GTA-style Game
Sleeping Dogs: Classics is a fantastic GTA style game, with more focus on melee combat than guns with unlimited ammo. This has a great story, characters and setting.

Fantastic game
Sleeping Dogs: Classics is a fantastic game. It has a superb city that is huge and has a lot to offer. The graphics are outstanding and all of the game play elements work really well. It's the hit of 2012, no doubt in my mind.

Sleeping Dogs: Classics
Sleeping Dogs: Classics is a good game overall. It was a bit boring after a while but that was long after I had completed it three times. I would highly recommend this game for people that are big fans of Grand Theft Auto. The melee fighting in this game is one of the best I have ever seen. Overall, it's a good game that I would definitely recommend.

Too repetitive, but fun overall
Sleeping Dogs: Classics actually deserves less stars - 3.5 would be enough. But since I'm a GTA fan, any similar sandbox game is a must-have for me. First of all, this game is different. Sure you'll be driving and running, but this game is mainly about melee and parkour, so don't expect much shooting here. You'll be able to shoot a lot, but be prepared to hit and kick many times more enemies than you'll shoot. The story is nothing special - you are an undercover cop, so you'll be working for triads as well as doing some cop missions. There are 30 main missions, but I found enough will to do all side quests, collect everything, buy all cars etc. It just left 3 (out of 4) martial clubs behind (got really tired of melee) and a few races. I even bought one DLC, but haven't finished it (pretty much the same as the main game, so no point in buying it). There are no difficulties to select, so some people (a lot, actually) will find the game really hard at first. Once you master the melee and timing, it's not too hard if you eat before the fight (if not, your health won't regenerate, you'll lose more health etc.) But mastering melee is not as hard as getting used to repetitive missions. It's mainly driving to one place killing everyone or running while trying to catch someone. It may be too much for anyone doing all side activities in the game, but the main story is all right - you may finish it before getting too bored.
