Kagome Higurashi is the main female protagonist to the Inuyasha anime series. Being born with the Sacred Jewel within her body, she was forcefully taken back 500 years in time where demons roamed the land. After shattering the jewel into hundreds of fragments, she and Inuyasha go on a journey to recover all the jewel shards before they fall into the wrong hands.
