I enjoyed this film at the cinema and loved it just as much as a home viewing experience. James Mangold has crafted a moving and thought-provoking film about the beginnings of Bob Dylan as a folk artist and his subsequent transformation into an "electric" artist. The film gives you a sense of the social shifts that inspire Dylan to create relevant art for a new audience. Great performances all round and another demonstration of Mangold's ability to turn his hand to different genres of film. Highly recommended.
