Whatever your thoughts on the film (and this is the superior Ultimate Edition cut), the audio/visual presentation here is spectacular, fixing the errors on the previous 4k release and introducing shifting aspect ratios for the imax sequences. Definitive.

I love Zack Snyder's vision for the DCEU and this is another great example of this. Love the new cover and IMAX scenes present in this release. A must own for all DC enthusiasts!

How the film should be viewed. I felt the theatrical cut left a lot to be desired due to studio meddling. The extended edition was already in my top comic book movies but this ultimate edition take it up another notch. The new colour grading makes it all Pop like a comic book panel and the remastered imax scenes add so much more to the film! There’s genuinely things going on in one sequence in particular that I’d never seen on the previous edition. This is a film that is definitely NOT for casuals. It makes you think about the real potential consequences of beings like this existing especially in a world that it far more relevant and recognisable as the one we all actually live in. I own all the Marvel movies and I can say I’ve enjoyed them when I watch but once the credits role that’s where it ends for me. I find I’m always drawn back to DC and this is a prime example of why. This is not a Marvel movie. And that’s just fine. 5 stars.

Excellent film and a great 4K transfer. Wish there were more IMAX scenes, or even have the full movie in IMAX, however that’s just a personal preference. Love it either way!

The new IMAX scenes look great and super sharp on 4k. The rest of the movie looks good but expect a lot of grain which, whilst intentional, does not provide a massive upgrade, hence the 4 stars. Also none of the previous Bonus features are included, which is not a problem if you own the precious blu ray. Overall worth picking up for the IMAX scenes alone.

Enjoy the battle between Batman and Superman in IMAX! The remastered BVS is a collector's bonanza.

This movie fits perfectly between man of Steel and the zach snyder directors cut of justice league, with Ben Afleck being an interesting choice as batman and Jeremy irons as Alfred they seemed to pair really well on screen with a great performance from both actors, the story follows directly from man of Steel and sets this movie up well, Gal Gadot makes an excellent wonder woman with an element of mystery to her character, the 4k is a joy to watch and in my opinion the ultimate cut is the only way to enjoy this movie, if you enjoyed man of Steel than you will love this
