I wasn't sure what this 1998 cult classic would be like in 4K, from memory I wasn't impressed with the HD version, but thought I'd give it a try as I hadn't seen it for ages. Wow - I wasn't disappointed this time, the transfer to 4K is fantastic, really clear crisp pictures, even in some of the low light scenes (of which there are plenty). The soundtrack was always fantastic and still has it, really enjoyed this new 4K version of this great film, of course there are plot holes and some of the CGI is dated, but it is still a great watch.

The picture quality is really good with detail being sharper and more vivid than the blu ray. This makes the CGI at the end of the film look fake. Overall I'd five the pq 4 out of 5. The audio is a Dolby Atmos mix and is appreciably better 5.1 audio track it came with on the blu ray. The sound effects are very dynamic with great separation; each gun blast, sword swipe, and explosion is punchy and sounds great through the speakers. I would give the sound 5 out of 5. I would definitely recommend this as an upgrade over the blu ray.

Excellent picture and the Atmos sound is wonderful, a must buy for fans.

Always was a good film plenty of action but even better in 4K.

Classic 90s action film remastered in 4k ultra great visuals and sound the best it's ever been arrived fast no fuss all perfect ..Wesley snipes the one and still only true blade.

Blade is not aging well, but for hardcore fans it doesn't matter, so this edition is really nice - good transfer and nice slipcover.

Classic movie and great HDR on 4K UHD. Nice to see some late 90s titles scanned at 4K.

Great film made even better in 4K.
