The story of the golden age of Hollywood's transition from Silent Movies to Talkies. Quite possibly the best musical for it's time with its musical score i.e. songs like the Timeless " Singin in the Rain" dance & song sequence immortalised by Gene Kelly, "Good Morning" , " You are my Lucky Star" to name but a few. Picture Black levels look amazing with colours deeper & sharper so much so it's hard to believe this film was made in 1952. There is a punch to the sound which was missing before. Bought the 4k in the Classic Singing in the Rain the picture quality has a good quality upgrade but it's the colours that bounce off the screen. The sound is much sharper than the standard blu-ray which is a great benefit listening to the musical score such as Good Morning , Make them Laugh, You are my lucky Star and the title song Singin in the Rain is magical. Worth the upgrade...without a doubt you won't be disappointed. Highly Re offended
