Even a man who is pure in heart and says his prayers by night may become a wolf when the wolfbane blooms and the autumn moon is bright." In 1941, The Wolf Man introduced the world to a new Universal movie monster and the mythology of the werewolf was redefined forever. Featuring a heartbreaking performance by Lon Chaney Jr. and groundbreaking makeup by Jack Pierce, this story of a cursed man who transforms into a deadly werewolf when the moon is full has not only become a masterpiece of the horror genre, but of all time.

Amazing , simply amazing, this is my favourite Universal Monsters movie so is my favourite of the 4 SteelBook of this Zavvi range. The artwork rocks, the new print simply exquisite especially given its 90 years old!! when you look at some of the trailers and other extras you can see the amazing job they did with the transfer and I would say this is a must have and all 4 look amazing on display
Not 5 stars because honestly, the difference between the remastered blu-ray and the 4k is not that great. It’s an old film after all. But overall very happy with this and will get the other Universal Monsters steelbooks that I want as well. HDR does give a seemingly better rendition of light and dark though which adds to the atmosphere.
Hello. Thank you for the products that you always have ideas for. It arrived as planned this time as well. We look forward to working with you in the future. Adachi
While I do not know what the 4K picture quality will look like —as this has not yet been released— the steelbook artwork looks great!
Should be good Lon Chaney As The Wolf Man in stunning 4K unmissable.
