The film is flawed in many ways yet still keeps your attention with solid performances (notably Katherine Isabelle in the lead) and a coulple genuinely unexpected turns in the story.
American Mary is definitely a must see for gore fans! With a creepy twist on revenge, this movie is full of bloody payback! The Soska twins have created an instant classic with American Mary.
I bought American Mary on a whim as it sounded like it had a good story - whilst still being my favourite genre. It was brilliant - I highly recommend it. There are many films that end and I can't wait to watch again, and this was definitely one of them.
American Mary is great. These twins made a brutal, sexy, horrific take on body sculpture with a twist on revenge. Fans of gore with a good story should watch it.
