Bought this for my son he thinks it’s interesting
Great film great cast picture quality 100 times better on blu ray delivered within two days couldn't ask for more.
A must for Carpenter fans. His 2nd movie and 1st proper film is great violent fun. Cheap but streamlined and slick, it features a great theme and some really memorable moments. You'll never forget the Ice cream truck! The presentation is really nice, great new artwork, a good transfer, 2 commentaries and loads of extras, even an unearthed student film! Great value.
Excellent re-print of this film on Blu-ray. Carpenter is imaginative, creating a suspenseful and scary image of the "unseen assailant". Building the story from the moment the film starts he moves through scenes building a brief insight into the world of the heroes he is attacking for being part of an establishment elite, on their own, frightened but brave. An as for the soundtrack!!!! There is no end to Carpenter's talent, he is a master of this genre of film.
Assault on Precinct 13 is a classic piece of 70's American cinema. The blu ray is a fine addition to my collection, containing a great transfer and a host of interesting bonus material.
