Definitely the killing joke

I would strongly advise to read the book first. It's sooooooo much better than this hyped up, mediocre ensemble of a film. The animation is of the standard format which does nothing to add to what was supposed to be a serious interpretation of the jokers 'origjns'. As for the DVD itself, well designed and the figure looks awesome. I purchased this for this alone as unfortunately, I found the film itself dull and uninteresting.

How Batman Films Should Be

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

After the tedium of Batman Vs Superman, The Killing Joke is a breath of fresh air. The Warner heads should seriously consider turning over the franchise to the team that consistently makes excellent animated movies This film is 1h 16m and feels like five minutes. It tells a complex story well and efficiently gives characters dimension and gravitas. The actual story is a classic and its only fitting that Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill are back Some nice extras including two of the classic 90s episodes and a making off round off this package. The steel book is gorgeous. 10/10 highly recommended
