Cleopatra Blu ray

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

Cleopatra is really 2 films in 1. The first half is Ceaser & Ceopatra, and the second half is Antony & Cleopatra. The picture quality is better than many modern day films. This version is the longest version at around 4 hours, but the story moves enough so that it doesn't seem that long. The extras are well worth watching as well. The story about the making of Cleopatra makes you realise how much went into making a film like this before computer graphics. It's well worth adding to your Blu-ray collection.

Cleopatra

Cleopatra is a very costly film because of its day. It does not tell all the facts but its sets are to die for, we will never see it like this again ever. They now use computer graphics which were not available then. Enjoy Fox's 1963 epic, for it will never be done again. But this is the longest version left.
