Absorbing return of TV's most loved serial killer. Loses 1 star because he finishes off less baddies than in the original series. The steelbook is a beautiful item, once again Zavvi have excelled themselves.

I’m a massive Dexter fan so this was a must have. Shame there’s no embossing/debossing on the front as this is always nice. Not watched the series yet but have heard mostly good things with the exception of the final episode.

Was very impressed with how impressive the Steelbook for the new Dexter series was! Then it got even better watching the series, I didn't think the ending was that bad but I was hoping we would get more Dexter and we did. The series does feel more cinematic then original and I think it suits it better especially the new surroundings that we find Dexter in. If you're a fan of the original series you'll love it! I did 😁

Awesome show and a great quality Steelbook, a must have for Dexter fans, am very chuffed with my purchase

Firstly, the steelbook is gorgeous. could've been enhanced with some embossing of details but I can give it a pass as it's just a nit-pick. The series itself is a wild departure from the energy and charisma of the previous 8 seasons but with the new setting and runtime I came to love the change of pace. After all, the snowy streets of Iron Lake New York are the polar opposite to the sunny Miami. The quality is perfectly mid-tier Dexter. I binge watched the first run of the original 8 seasons and went straight into this as if the wait hadn't happened. It created some tonal whiplash but after finishing it, I didn't feel too let down. Spoilers Ahead: The new end to Dexter is better yet I can totally see the disappointment. Everything in this season (however convoluted or messy) was well built up to, so to see the conclusion of Dexter being shot come nearly out of no where, let alone Angela's sudden moral shift that just seems petty against Dexter just all feels so off. For a pretty tight series it really loosened up at the worst moment
