Spike Lee has produced a variety of excellent and incendiary films and perhaps none more so than this. It is an epic tale of culture clash & the political scene has very much stayed the same in America particularly, which gives the film a real sense of urgency now too. The other review describing the film as “propaganda” is a prime example of why the film is so important. Racism and prejudice has only grown since “do the right thing” was released and if it’s upsetting a precious person enough on here, you can quite clearly see how necessary a film like this is. Terrific cast, themes and the tension is major throughout. One of Spike Lee’s very best.
Wow I think the Person who gave this film/release a one star review has really misunderstood the concept and story. This film is just as relevant today as it was 31 Years ago and the artwork is a nice tribute to this Masterpiece.
Love this movie but the SteelBook is really poorly designed not to knock it I do love it still but they could of done better but I’ve seen much worse then this. Definitely recommend this movie got fantastic special features as well to enjoy after the movie and the commentary track on the film is worth a listen too as well.
Great looking colours and a really good film. Striking and different artwork, which make a nice change to some of the more generic designs. Well worth a purchase.
We all know Do the right thing is a classic, however until you see it on 4K then it will stay with you even longer. Ernest dickersons cinematography really pops off the screen, the sense of the sweltering summer & heightened tensions are every more present. The steel book from zavvi is amazing, this is worth every penny.

THose steelbooks are so unique to Zavvi . Movie is great and the delivery is fast. The promotions and offers are very aatractive. I highly recommend Zavvi as a website and the movie to enjoy.
If you’re on this page you’ll already know what a classic this film is. However, this is a superb presentation of this Spike Lee masterpiece. The 4K presentation is amazing - the movie has never looking this good. Also, the steelbook is beautiful. Highly recommended.
