From Disney and visionary director Tim Burton, the grand live-action adventure Dumbo expands on the beloved classic story where differences are celebrated, family is cherished and dreams take flight. Circus owner Max Medici (Danny DeVito) enlists former star Holt Farrier (Colin Farrell) and his children to care for a newborn elephant whose oversized ears make him a laughingstock in an already struggling circus.
But when they discover that Dumbo can fly, the circus makes an incredible comeback, attracting persuasive entrepreneur V. A. Vandevere (Michael Keaton), who recruits the peculiar pachyderm for his newest, larger-than-life entertainment venture, Dreamland. Dumbo soars to new heights alongside the charming and spectacular aerial artist Colette Marchant (Eva Green)-until Holt learns that beneath its shiny veneer, Dreamland is full of dark secrets.

The quality of Zavvi steelbooks is generally excellent it has to be said but with this release we seem to run into a familiar old problem again... that is there is NO TITLE ONTHE SPINE. When I pre-ordered this I am sure that there was one shown although I realise that the artwork was not final at that stage. This seems to be a recurring thing sadly and I thought that this issue had been addressed as some recent listings actually state "TITLE ON SPINE" meaning that Zavvi acknowledges that this is important to a lot of collectors (such as myself). I'm not over bothered about the fact that the Dumbo release isn't embossed although it would have been nice I think together with a high gloss finish perhaps. These are minor things though and there is a title on the front which is nice... but no good to identify it when on a shelf. Previous collections have suffered the same such as The Marvel Avengers films for example and some of the Star Wars ones. PLEASE ZAVVI... release all your steebooks with a title on the spine... I only ask for this one thing. For me it would make all the difference.
Zavvi have knocked it out there park with this one - great Steelbook, great release, great price. Well done all round!
