Having just quit her job as a Los Angeles TV horror hostess, Elvira receives the unexpected news that she's set to inherit part of her great aunt Morgana's estate. Arriving in the small town of Fallwell, Massachusetts to claim her inheritance, Elvira receives a less than enthusiastic reception from the conservative locals - amongst them, her sinister uncle Vincent, who, unbeknownst to Elvira, is in fact an evil warlock secretly scheming to steal the old family spellbook for his own nefarious ends...

Elvira is one of my absolute favorites from this kind of genre, its funny its horror and Elvira is an amazing personality. I own a couple of different versions, to when the opportunity came up to get this steelbook i handed over my cash immediately. As i will keep my other copies for watching and this as a collectable. I would recommend this movie for anyone who is not entire bought into the horror genre as it has a funny cheesy take on it. Also i would recommend the other Elvira film, known as Elvira's Haunted Hills, which is in the same vein. However, it doesn't come up as a special edition much. I would love to have both of them as Steelbooks Elvira is rightly a horror icon.
A sadly all too often overlooked comedy horror classic, this first foray onto the big screen for the Mistress of The Dark is as much a love letter to the horror genre as it is a light hearted parody of its camp excesses. Elvira of course steels the show with her usual acerbic, dry wit and very forward and in your face attributes, but the entire cast do an excellent job and the story is as madly over the top and ridiculously entertaining as you would hope. A wonderful addition to any classic horror fan's collection, the steelbok is as vibrantly beautiful as it's star and perfect for the movies sensibilities.
Was happy to see this classic movie being released in a great steelbook. I have not been disappointed, the film is the best it’s ever looked and the steelbook is of equal quality.

Another solid release from Arrow. I like the art work on this steelbook. Sometimes these are hit or miss but I think this one is cool. Thanks to Zavvi for quick and safe delivery.
