Fly - Steelbook Edition

David Cronenberg's version of The Fly has long been an 80's classic in my eyes and this beautiful steelbook does the film justice. Highly recommended purchase for both the movie and the packaging.

Watched with my sons (18 ,21 ) as part of of my retro "watch this you'll like it" family movie course , totally blew them away .The Chris Walas effects still hold up Jeff Goldblume's performance is still his best and Geena Davis totally in the zone .David Cronenberg doing his Gynaecologist bit adds to the cameo he does , what with his flesh obsession , and what he "delivers" to it..

As I've probably mentioned in other reviews, I just love the 80s in film, cheesey and absolutely fun, no over the top special effects that you have today, although a remake of the original Fly which I think is a great film even now, the 80s Fly IS Entertaining, a great looking steelbook at a great price and tons of extras, well worth a watch..

David Cronenberg's crowning acheivement, this remake of the 1954 version of The Fly is gripping, disgusting, and an incredible achievement in practical effects. An absolute must watch.

One of my favorite movies from the 80's. Beautiful steel book. A must own for any steel book collector. My only complaint. You don't really see the telepod at all. The telepod had such a cool design. It should have been on the back of the steel book on it's own.

Steelbook is beautiful. Movie is great. Recommended.
