I only heard about this because of the controversy around the opening episode. This is one of those animes that is almost like a game of dungeons and dragons. The main character is a mysterious human, obsessed with goblins. He meets am interesting band of adventures who end up going goblin slaying with him. They develop the characters in a way that you care about them and what they are doing. You really care. And when the end comes your left wanting more from the gang. This is the most spoiler free I can make it.

this is a fun anime with some extreme situations and characters, beginning with the titular goblin slayer, a man with only one purpose in life, to kill and eradicate all goblins from the face of the world, why? that we will see...., this anime has a good story despite the beginning being purposely made to shock you.

It's a good show. A lot violence. A lot of goblins. A lot of sexual innuendos. There are no subtitles on these discs. You can watch it in Japanese or English but without subtitles. For someone who has a hard time hearing, these discs are almost useless to me. I get what's going on for the most part but it'd be nice to have subtitles so I could follow the dialogue. Overall, this was a disappointing purchase.
