For those who were wondering, this is NOT the extended Director's Cut of the movie. Unfortunately so, as it is in my opinion superior to the standard cinematic version, but this should and did not cost any stars. 3 out of 5 because the picture quality is well beneath modern blu-ray standards and the steelbook could have been more visually stunning - just as this movie is visually stunning and still one of my absolute favorites. I highly recommend watching the movie, although I think you should watch the Director's Cut and will get the same technical quality on DVD, as this blu-ray transfer is not what it could have been. So, Zavvi, what about another steelbook, this time for the Director's Cut and ith a more artistic approach to the design?

Have always loved this film and couldn't wait to get it on Blu ray. Unfortunately for such a visually stylistic movie the blu ray doesn't do it enough justice. There's still a lot of grain and only the English dub has the full audio upgrade.

This was a very unique movie! The visuals and story were superb and also quality acting from Jet Ii and Co. It was very enjoyable, very good entertainment and a superb all round blu-ray to add to any good movie collection.
