Howard The Duck Zavvi Exclusive Marvel Blu-ray SteelBook x ZBOX

I became disillusioned with these mystery boxes a while ago but saw this exclusive marvel one come around and thought the steel book would be worth it. I was wrong. They plunged into the depths of films you can consider marvel (not MCU) and pulled out one of the worst rated ones they could. The collectables will do for my blu ray shelves but no matter what promises are made from these guys in the future, I will never be getting one of these boxes again.

This will be a polarising one for most I would imagine. The main hook of this box would be the steelbook which is "Howard the Duck", not the most beloved of Marvel films and not one that I had any inclination of owning let alone getting a steelbook for, but there we are. This is the risk of buying into mystery boxes - something I'd been avoiding as of late due to this exact issue, but was tempted by the Exclusive Marvel Steelbook - I figured they couldn't disappoint me, I'd have been happy with Affleck's Daredevil, ot The Fantastic Four (any of them), even Elektra... this I didn't see coming. As for the rest of the box, it's fine if you're into Pop Vinyls (I'm not, but they're kind of a given with pop-culture oriented mystery boxes these days). The steelbook protector is Zavvi branded and mine had a few marks on it, so any steelbook you put in there wouldn't look very nice. The Steelbook Pin was nice. Overall, could have been a lot better. I'll not be purchasing any mystery boxes anytime soon.

This movie is a total classic. A great addition to any steelbook collectors! A++++

Would have been nice if they had thrown an original bit of art work on it, but no thought or effort just the old blu ray cover. Shame could have been great but they settled for dull.

Very disappointing marvel mystery steelbook! I thought it was gonna be a film from the marvel cinematic universe but it turned out to be a complete turkey avoid.

love the film from way back when it was first on vhs, sadly I don't collect funko so the things are not much use !! I do collect steelbooks but not 4k ones there over priced as are the players for them !!

Love the Howard the Duck steelbook, it's a marmite movie but I love it, rest of the box was ok, nothing special but added to the overall value of the pack.

The items in the Zbox weren’t too bad this time around. Gold hulk and pop amount other items. The steelbook is awesome and goes with my already huge marvel steelbook collection quite nicely. All in all worth the money.

Waited years for this steelbook and it didn't disappoint, absolutely beautiful. Just silver surfer and punisher war zone to go now. I've never bought a z-box before but what an awesome little package. I had the steelbook and my son was over the moon as he had the contents of the z-box....... fantastic
