A beautiful steelbook for an absolutely amazing offering from Disney/Pixar... They’ve created some amazing animated movies over the years but this particular movie brings us back to the magic they used to give us right at the start in my opinion. This is a MUST own piece of animation!!! The steelbook is marvellous and a definite collector’s item.
Great film, very nice steelbook, but the US got a 4K UHD disc in this, the UK didn't, so that's a shame. A 4K disc is available as a non-steelbook release, so unfortunately fans of the film who want the highest quality format but also like to collect steelbooks have to make an unpleasant choice, or spend more for both. I chose to go for the steelbook now and will pick ups the 4K disc later when it's cheaper.
Very nice steelbook the only issue I have is it’s a shame they didn’t not do the steelbook with a 4K disc
The film itself is top marks. Gorgeous animation, a great cast of characters and a lovely, low key plot. Steelbook is high quality, which a nice finish and embossed logo. It’s a worthy addition on the shelf with the other Pixar steelbooks, but unfortunately Zavvi haven’t stocked a 4K version, which is where it loses marks. Also there’s no directors commentary, which are always the highlight of these Pixar releases.
This is a really nice looking steelbook and it's good to see some embossing for a change along with a tile on the spine (as opposed to just some character images0. The only thing missing is some gloss, so still a far cry from the hey-day of the early Disney steelbook releases but at least a better effort that most that we seem to see these days.
Such a beautiful and sweet film, and the animation is lush. The steel book case is beautiful too and does the film justice. Five star purchase
