Mongol-The rise to power of Genghis Khan, tells the epic story of the young boy born Temudgin, who later became

the legendary warrior Genghis Khan (Tadanobu Asano-Zailochi).

Following the brutal murder of his father, he embarks on a nomadic existence in the vast Mongolian steppe. His

thoughts are never far from his spirited wife Borte (Khulan Chuluun), who lives to support the young Genghis

Khan in his battle to unite the warring Mongol Chirftain Jamukha (Honlglei Sun), Genghis Khan's fate is sealed as the

supreme Mongol leader.

Directed by award-winning Russian film maker Sergei Bodrov, Mongol is an awe-inspiring tale of survival set
