I remember seeing this when it hit the cinema and it was fantastic! Yeah the fx dated pretty badly but it has its charm and its become quite the cult classic.Ive been a gamer 35 years and was right there when the first MK arcade came on the scene and remember the whole brand just exploding! The second movie...well...tbh is just depressing and pretty awful and the only reason this steel didnt get a 5 was due to it being included. I would LOVE to get just the first movie in its own steel but this will do fine until then. YOUR SOUL IS MINE!!

Mortal Kombat is one of the best game to movie adaptations that’s ever been made, and Annihilation is a welcome a compliment with its wide range of characters from the game. The steel book is great and I especially like the nod to both Mortal Kombat symbols on the front and back covers. The original film also comes with an additional animated story, which adds insight and depth to some characters back stories. This is a welcome and permanent addition to my collection.

It’s good to see these 2 movies on blu Ray , does it has the blu Ray quality ? No , some grinding but for movies this old , ...I like the approach on this old video game , and actually its a must have for collectors . The story is welll known, the steelbook is very nice

I love me some camp video-game movies, and outside of the OG Street Fighter, these 2 are the next best thing (particularly Annihilation). Great for nostalgia, and a great way to prepare for the new movie!

Two cult mowies. Love the design on the steelbook. The movies not so good but as you know, still classic cults.

Very happy to finally be able to have both original Mortal Kombat movies available in blu ray with the added bonus that they come in an awesome looking steelbook.

As most fans of the franchise will agree, we don't talk about the second film (Annihilation), but even if this steelbook only contained the first film alone, it would still be worth it. It's difficult to say whether the upcoming film will do better than the first Mortal Kombat, but in any case this is a fantastic steelbook to add to the collection. Well presented, and the film looks great as ever.
