SAW V picks up where the fourth entry left off as Detective Mark Hoffman (Costas Mandylor) - Jigsaws final apprentice - is praised by colleagues for his efforts in bringing the notorious serial killer to justice. However FBI Agent Strahm (Scott Patterson) - a survivor of one of Jigsaws traps - is not so convinced of Hoffman's heroics and begins to did deeper into the lawman. But as Strahm gets closer to the truth a new games begins. Hoffman must go on the hunt to eliminate all the loose ends.
