Rainn Wilson (The US Office) stars in this action-packed comedy from writer/director James Gunn (Dawn of the Dead, Slither) and co-starring Ellen Page (Juno, Inception).
Frank D’Arbo (Wilson), an everyday 9-5 guy, has come to the realisation that his wife has no interest in him anymore and that their relationship has gone stale and meaningless. Before he even has a chance to confront her about it, she packs her bags and leaves him.
Frank’s life is soon drastically transformed when he discovers she has left him for a notorious drug dealer, Jacques (Kevin Bacon). Instead of moping around the house and doing the usual break up shamble, he decides to take a stand. Frank soon comes up with a crime-fighting persona called Crimson Bolt, and sets out on a mission to get his wife back from Jacques. -M.F.

Ever heard a joke, people laugh and you don't get it? Well, this film is a bit like that. Not to ruin the story but this is a typical guy with no super powers fighting crime, a caper filled with the usual stupid humour you get in really really bad TV shows. The film is very badly acted, the humour never lands and the overall experience is painful to put anyone through. I would strongly advise only buying this film for someone you really hate or who has the mentality of a 5 year old. I bought this as the reviews said it was better than kick ass but I found the credits at the end of kick ass a considerably better experience.
