“The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies” brings to an epic conclusion the adventures of Bilbo Baggins (Martin Freeman), Thorin Oakenshield (Richard Armitage) and the Company of Dwarves. The Dwarves of Erebor have reclaimed the vast wealth of their homeland, but now must face the consequences of having unleashed the terrifying Dragon, Smaug, upon the defenseless men, women and children of Lake-town.
As he succumbs to dragon-sickness, the King Under the Mountain, Thorin Oakenshield, sacrifices friendship and honor in his search for the legendary Arkenstone. Unable to help Thorin see reason, Bilbo is driven to make a desperate and dangerous choice, not knowing that even greater perils lie ahead.
An ancient enemy has returned to Middle-earth. Sauron, the Dark Lord, has sent forth legions of Orcs in a stealth attack upon the Lonely Mountain. As darkness converges on their escalating conflict, the races of Dwarves, Elves and Men must decide—unite or be destroyed. Bilbo finds himself fighting for his life and the lives of his friends as five great armies go to war.

Excellent end to the story of 3 epic films
PRODUCT IS EXCELLENT. PRICE WAS EXCELLENT. ALTHOUGH POSTED FIRST CLASS BY GUERNSEY POST IT ARRIVED THE DAY AFTER ITS DUE DATE ON 23/7/15.
Probably the best of the three Hobbit films. Very intense and a lot of action. Still not sure if it warranted making 3 films from the single Hobbit book but if you liked the Lord of the Rings then you won't be disappointed
Thank you very much. I think this movie is so good. And I enjoy watching this one.
Saw all 3 in cinemas and read the book, had to get them on 3D blu ray, love it
This is a brilliant cd, as are all of the Hobbit films. Very pleased we got this one.
Much better than the previous one. Well worth watching.
3 movies out of one small book. Maybe it's a little too much for the holywood machine. Tolkien must be turning in his grave. But nevertheless it's the best out of 3 with a 45 min during battle scenario. For the 3D I can be short, rarely you see things popping-out but for depth the world of middle earth really comes a live. So for me a 3 star rating
Peter Jackson is better than this. Great CGI, special effects and scenery. Poor story telling and scripting. Shame really, could have been another classic but let down by special effects over content.
Excellent film, lots of action, drama and passion. everthing you would want in a movie. watched it over and over again. Leaves you wanting more.
