The Ides of March

Written and directed by George Clooney (ER, Ocean's Eleven, Confessions of a Dangerous Mind), 'The Ides of March' stars Ryan Gosling as Stephen Meyers, a junior campaign manager for Governor Mike Morris (Clooney) who's running as a Democratic candidate and gearing up for a heavily contested presidential primary in Ohio.

When Stephen is offered a job on the opposing campaign manager's staff, he begins to develop an idea of dirty politics, questioning his loyalty to Morris and his campaign after learning he isn't the political saviour he once hoped. With his mind in pieces, Stephen gets himself caught up in a political scandal, and ends up undecided about which side to play for. Whilst being trapped in this gruelling battle, Meyers also uncovers a secret that threatens to sink the career of Morris and upend his shot at the presidency.
