The Japanese monarchy has decided to replace the hired samurai warriors, who have been relied upon for centuries for defending the nation, with a more contemporary military. A U.S. Civil War veteran (Tom Cruise) is hired by the Emperor to train a group of Japanese conscripts to replace the samurai warriors. But when he is captured by the samurai, he comes to respect them and finds himself torn over who he should be fighting for.

Some movie deserve a steelbok: the last samurai is one of these.
This is one of the best movies from Tom Cruise. The steelbook itself looks pretty cool in all white and a two tone front cover. The disc is packed with awesome extras. Anyone who likes big epic movies will love this. Buy it now whilst its still on offer.
Fantastic movie, real nice steelbook and fast delivery. There are also loads of really cool extras on the disc including a full length documentry. Well worth the buy. Highly recommend. Fast delivery from Zavvi too.
Really Nice With the white steelbook. No embossing, bur great artwork at the back, and some really colorful and nice artwork on the inside. Fantastic Movie as well
Thrilling adventure epic - The Last Samurai is a visually stunning, opulent, but also thoughtful epic adventure about Japanese culture and the confrontation with the Western world. Everything is just right: Great scenes, great costumes and settings, excellent acting actors, epic battles and a compelling story make this movie a thrilling experience that will never be bored and even after repeated viewing perfect to entertain. The alternation between quiet, meditative sequences and action-packed moments is chosen optimally. The Last Samurai is for me one of the best films of Tom Cruise and will still end up many times in my player.

Good steelbook and nice movie
The Last Samurai - Steelbook Edition is a high quality steelbook for a good movie. Those who prefer the UK edition steelbook artwork to that of North America will not be disappointed!
The Last Samurai - Steelbook Edition is a brilliant war film. I love all films where the underdogs win. If you like Troy, 300 or The Patriot, you will love this film. The new artwork for the case is top notch.
