Double bill of Indonesian martial arts action films. In 'The Raid' (2011), a SWAT team becomes trapped inside an apartment block ruled by a ruthless gangster and his army of killers, thugs and drug-dealers. The largely rookie squad is led by an over-cautious Lieutenant into the building, where it is quickly outsmarted and out-gunned. Their objective is to bring to justice the drugs baron who resides on the building's top floor, but this proves far easier said than done. In 'The Raid 2' (2014), still smarting from his last assignment, Jakarta cop Rama (Iko Uwais) is tasked with going undercover and infiltrating the criminal underworld to find out who's really pulling the strings. However, with his family in danger from those seeking retribution for the pain Rama inflicted on their fellow gang members, it'll be a race against time to bring the entire criminal empire down single-handedly while covering up his true identity...

Two unexpected action gems! I loved both films!
Totally kickass film, excellent quality, fast despatch and well packaged, highly recommended.
The Raid 1&2 are two of the best action movies to come along in a loooong time. The choreography is unreal. The Raid 1 has a tighter story, compared to, at times, the overblown story of The Raid 2. But it makes up for its messy story with unbelievable. gory, hard-hitting fights & set-pieces. That's what you want though, i'm guessing! Two of the best action movies in years for under a Tenner! Amazing. The Raid : 5 Stars -- The Raid 2 : 4 Stars 5 Stars for everything else: (Price delivery, product).
This are best martial arts movies that I watched in the last few years. I recommend them. And, as usual, ZAVVI have fast delivery.
Great action films, the 2nd not quite as good as the first, but still very watchable.
Couldn't resist in picking this up for a tremendous price. The first Raid is arguably the best recent fight film of our generation. Incredible!
