In 1998, director Hideo Nakata (Dark Water) unleashed a chilling tale of technological terror on unsuspecting audiences, which redefined the horror genre, launched the J-horror boom in the West and introduced a generation of moviegoers to a creepy, dark-haired girl called Sadako. The film's success spawned a slew of remakes, reimaginations and imitators, but none could quite boast the power of Nakata's original masterpiece, which melded traditional Japanese folklore with contemporary anxieties about the spread of technology.
A group of teenage friends are found dead, their bodies grotesquely contorted, their face twisted in terror. Reiko (Nanako Matsushima, When Marnie Was There), a journalist and the aunt of one of the victims, sets out to investigate the shocking phenomenon, and in the process uncovers a creepy unrban legend about a supposedly cursed videotape, the contents of which causes anyone who views it to die within a week - unless they can persuade someone else to watch it, and, in so doing, pass on the curse...
Arrow Video is proud to present the genre-defining trilogy - Ring, the film that started it all, plus Hideo Nakata's chilling sequel Ring 2, and the haunting origin story, Ring 0 - as well as the 'lost' original sequel, George Iida's Spiral, gathered together in glorious high definition and supplemented by a wealth of archival and newly created bonus materials.

Hi folks. So for the complete and original collection of the Ring Trilogy, this is a must. After seeing the first film many years ago, this is a great set of 4 films. Yes I did say 4 because not you only get Ring, Ring 2, and Ring 0 ( or Ring Birthday as it also known) you also get the little known original sequel of George Lida's "Spiral". Plenty of bonus features to keep you entertained, including behind the scenes featurette for Ring 0, and even Sadako's video. Just remember, that once you have watched the film, you will have to persuade someone else to watch, or the curse will remain with you!
Classic movies everybody knows already. But, when it comes to this box set, it is really excellent package with great looking box, with 3 blu-ray cases inside, each with an amazing new cover. Movies include plenty of extras.
Well presented with plenty of features, wouldn't expect any less from Arrow.
4 films and loads of extras.... More scary and atmospheric than the American remakes... Well worth the money
Great box set, great price, great extras included. Great to watch these all again in blue ray definition
I watched these movies over 20 years ago, and am very happy that I found all four of the Ring movies in one box set.
A good trio of films for a throwaway price! A great 4K transfer on Blu-ray with lots of extras including a bonus movie from The Ring creator himself. An always brilliant price and service from Zavvi
Great spooky movies to watch on a cold wet night in the dark
Boxset unfortunately arrived in an envelope and not a cardboard box, but somehow they were in great condition. Great films and a brilliant set by Arrow Video.
Been waiting for a good price on this set, and I'm very glad I have the trilogy now!
