Blackbeards Ghost

Slightly silly but rather fun! Ustinov is great as the Rum soaked pirates ghost, stealing every scene he appears in. The story revolves around Blackbeard having to do a good turn (which he's never thought of doing before) to free himself from a spell cast by one of his less liked wives. Dean Jones is the coach of an enthusiastic but less than successful athletics team and his loveable lodging house ladies are set to lose their livelihood so plenty of opportunities for Blackbeard then. Romantic sets are enhanced by good use of moonlight.

Blackbeard's Ghost is one of Disney's funniest films. A laugh a minute and great for all ages. I am going to introduce my grandchildren to it and would recommend it to anyone. With the current economic climate we all are in need of a laugh and if you want something light hearted to watch, this is a good one.
