Caprica - Season 1, Volume 2 is a great DVD that lives up to Battlestar A1.
Caprica - Season 1, Volume 2 is a great show, sadly cancelled early maybe due to it's lack of action in comparison to it's parent show Battlestar Galactica. It's a slow burner but really finds it's feet towards the end. Sadly missed.
I guessed that all people who watched Caprica, were hardcore Battlestar Galactica fans. Like me, they were expecting more of the same in Caprica. The First half of Caprica season one was a non-event. The story arc was there, but things just seemed to be 'ticking' over with not much happening. We almost gave up, almost. The second half of Season 1, volume 2, then hit us head on like an express train! This was what we were hoping for. Caprica volume 2 is as good ( if not better in places ) than the BSG we all grew to love. My advice is to buy Caprica season 1 volume 1 and slog through it, then buy Season 1 volume 2, sit back, and prepare to be blown away.
Excellent conclusion to the excellent Caprica series. This was the prequel to Battlestar Galactica which unfortunately was cancelled after one series. Great backstory providing an insight into the development of the Cylons. Unusually for a cancelled series, the loose ends are tied up in the last episode.
