If you like Columbo you will love to have the complete boxed set, in hisfafmous cigar case. The price for this set is unbeatable and the set is in perfect condition and will give you hours of entertainment. I never tire of watching this apparently little bumbling detective who is actually much smarter than he would have you think.

Ever since Columbo, wearing his shabby raincoat, first came onto our TV screens in the 1970s, I was hooked on this detective. His style was so unique, laid back and lulled the murderer into a false sense of security, before apprehending him or her. The nearest comparison, who is also very good, is Monk. The earliest Columbo episodes are the finest, but honestly all are worthy of watching and the thing is, you can, following a short break. repeatedly watch them again and get as much satisfaction from them as though it was the first viewing, that's how good the writing and acting is. The story lines are so good, they stay in the memory, long after you have watched the episode, making you examine in your own mind, how Columbo managed to gradually solve the case. The whole series is supported by well known actors of the day and they must have been queuing up to appear as the murderer, trying to outwit Peter Falk, who is so perfectly cast, as the bumbling detective. The DVD set of the complete series is remarkable value for money and was delivered within a short time of placing the order. This is one of best purchases I have ever made and although I am a 100% Columbo fan, I am sure, that at the modest selling price, once you start viewing, you also would, like me, be soon addicted to Columbo.

Bought as a gift for my mum. Great boxset for any Columbo fan-has all the episodes and is in a really nice box making it a perfect gift. It also is an amazing price for the amount of disks you receive

This is a must for all Columbo fans young and older! Columbo is hilarious and the detection second to none Peter Falk was brilliant,making the part completely his own I remember the show as a child but only started to watch the series on TV a couple of years ago-l was hooked All 10 series every episode made neatly stacked in this box set to watch at your leisure All remastered to good effect,the sound quality is also clean All as originally broadcast and at a great price So pleased i bought this In fact I ordered this a while ago- but unfortunately it was out of stock, Thanks Zavvi-not only did you keep me informed every step of the way as to the status of my order and continue to insist you would supply this for me by giving me an estimateddelivery window but you did it at the original offer price This was great customer service

This is a excellent box set,and the quality and picture of this box set is excellent.and the price of this set is great.

This is a very nice set to be sure. However it is not actually complete. It does not have the two pilot episodes "Prescription: Murder" and "Ransom for a Dead Man. There are also no extras that I have found so far. At this price you really can't complain, though.

Great box set. When you first watch them look at the episodes numbers first because the pilot episodes are numbered wrong for some reason

This collection is absolutely brilliant and NOT available for purchase in Australia. It is in region 2 but my DVD player is a multi zone DVD player so no problems. Shipping takes about a month and the product is packed very well. I recommend this collection for the avid Columbo fan as my wife and myself are and also recommend Zavvi for their excellent service.
