Darker than Murder on the Orient Express but possibly more entertaining. Very atmospheric, in fact it's borderline arthouse. Kenneth Branagh's Poirot is more self assured if a trifle tragic. Undoubtedly, without any real competition, the best film this year and a real treat for Agatha Christie fans.
