Despite the promises he made to her, he returned to a life of crime. Ronnie was arrested and imprisoned for his involvement in the heist but, unable to face the sentence, Ronnie escaped and the couple fled to Australia. There they began a new life, which for Charmian would ultimately lead to tragedy and betrayal. Seen this on TV before I bought Mrs Biggs. I loved the story as it gave a wife's perspective on her husbands crime "The great train robbery" . Top class actors and actresses. I recommend this anytime. Definitely worth a view.

Mrs Biggs is a very interesting true story made more interesting by the fact that the Biggs came to Australia. Although a sad story, it is well worth watching. The acting and making of the film are very good.
