The Secret of Moonacre is not a particularly family orientated film but is instead more directly centred around children. Unlike other fantasy films such as The Chronicles of Narnia, this film has a much more concentrated appeal and is likely to suit young children. Neither does this film offer an especially impressive visual display. Where as the effects are beautifully done they are also few and far between. The real beauty of this film is to be found within its characters. With the relationships, emotions, dreams and desires normally only found in Enid Blyton novels, this film will undoubtedlty leave children enchanted. Finally a film that means kids will be happy to dispense with the cinematics and simply enjoy the story.
