Carlo Collodi's classic tale of mischievous Pinnocchio, an animated marionette, and his poor father, a wood-carver named Geppetto is brought to life on the silver screen.

Directed by Luigi Comencini, with Nino Manfred as Gepetto, Andrea Balestri as Pinnocchio and Gina Lollo-bridgia as the fairy. Great actors and a subtle poetry make this adaptation a real masterwork of European cinema.
