It’s a new term at Waterloo Road – and to say that nothing will be the same again is an understatement.

There’s a new boy Finn Sharkey who’s been kicked out of more schools than most others have ever attended – and it will take more than Waterloo Road to turn him around – if he’s going down, he’s not going alone.  But in the meantime there’s trouble and disruption to be caused, along with legal highs to be pursued regardless of the danger.

By the end of this term, the school will have seen a child abducted by a vengeful father, a schoolgirl crush that can destroy a career, a teacher whose life is spiraling out of control into drug addiction and desperation, and a head teacher who’s heart is about to lead her out of the school gates - maybe for the last time.

There’s never been a school like it, and there’s never been a term like this spring term where the only thing you can be certain that’s sprouting, is trouble.
