I was a little disappointed with these Altec Lansing Orbit Stereo USB Speakers because it hasn't got a normal 3.5 mm jack to connect with a computer. The sound quality is very good and it's nice and portable. If somebody needs to carry speakers this is very good idea.
We love these Altec speakers - we travel a lot so appreciate the fact that they are so super light and easy to transport but still feel solid and "quality". Great sound too (although volume is not huge that doesn't worry us personally - but you couldn't use these speakers for a party!) They suit us perfectly.
These speakers are much better than my inbuilt laptop ones - higher volume and something resembling bass, which I have really missed! For the price I would say they are definitely worth it.
These Altec Lansing Orbit Stereo USB Speakers are very good. They are not very loud but are clear and work as described. It's great value. It's only a USB output so there's no 3.5mm output available for your tablets/phone. They are reasonably compact and can be screwed together for transporting around. If your notebook speakers are terrible like mine then this is a good upgrade for a low price.
Perfect for improving naff laptop sound quality. They won't shake the room but for the money they are excellent !! Very clever storage features too.

These speakers work pretty fine and the portability they offer make them the best option for this price.
