SEGA Mega Drive Classic Collection: Gold Edition is full of wonderful games!
If you had a Sega Mega Drive then you'll love this Classic Collection. All the games you remember, and some you may never of heard of, are here for you to play. It can be used with PC controllers, so it feels just like it did back in the day.
If you've ever owned or (like me) still have a Megadrive, Sega now give PC owners the chance to (re)play 46 classic titles in this compilation. I won't list all the games here but I will say that you have the option with each game to save whenever you want as well as playing with the original 4/3 ratio or stretched to fit widescreen 16/9 displays. You also have the option to 'smooth over' those harsh 16-bit corners or keep them in their original pixel glory so some work has been done to help these games run on a modern PC without losing that retro feel. This is a great way for old school Sega fans to catch up on some truly excellent games that you may have missed out on (Shining Force I & II, Landstalker, ToeJam & Earl and Shinobi for example) and personally I was grinning like a loon while playing Streets of Rage 2 !!
this is great Mega Drive collection, I did have a Mega Drive but I only got to play a few of these games. Getting to play 46 of them from one disc is better value then just getting each volume as you won't have to install each disc and then run each software from each of the discs. getting to play Sonic the hedgehog, Golden Ax, Altered Beast Comix Zone, Ecco The Dolphin etc. Games where the only other way would be to download from the other consoles where you would need to spend over £100s, but here you would getting these classics at a cheap value.
