LEGO: The Lord of the Rings is based on The Lord of the Rings motion picture trilogy and follows the original storylines of The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring, The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers, and The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King. Now the entire family can team up in pairs as adorable LEGO The Lord the Rings minifigures to experience countless dangers, solve riddles and battle formidable foes on their journey to Mount Doom.

LEGO: The Lord of the Rings takes players along on the adventures of Frodo Baggins and his unlikely fellowship as they set out on a perilous journey to destroy The One Ring and save Middle-earth. Kids, tweens, teens and parents can traverse the Misty Mountains, explore the Mines of Moria, knock on the Black Gate of Mordor, and partake in epic battles with Orcs, Uruk-hai, the Balrog and other fearsome foes while harnessing the humor and imagination of LEGO gameplay to solve puzzles and explore Middle-earth. Players will take on the form of their favorite members of the fellowship – Frodo the Hobbit, Aragorn the Ranger, Gandalf the Wizard, Legolas the Elf, Gimli the Dwarf, Boromir a Man of Gondor, and Frodo’s Hobbit friends Sam, Merry and Pippin – as they relive the most momentous events from the films.

LEGO: Lord Of The Rings is a really funny game. It traces the entire saga of the Lord of the Rings in a comical way .. You can decide to play the story mode or you can freely explore middle earth with all the characters . The story mode is not very long, but if you like to get 100%, you'll spend many hours on this game without getting bored. The game is really easy and I recommend it to anyone who want to have fun without worrying about the difficulty. Just for the fun this game gets 5 stars
This game is the typical Lego game, with a mix of funny moments, action and adventure. If you are a fan of the Tolkien's universe you should buy it, it won't dissapoint you. The range of ages of the people who can play it is quite wide and if you play with a friend is even more funny.
Fast delivery and great game. Fun for kids and adults. Fun game with LOTR story
Lego LOTR offers mostly the same kind of experience as the previous titles. This one seems sadly more buggy than any of the titles I have played before, and some of them were bad already considering stability. Game freezes to certain points often and complete boot-up of PS3 system is required. This is a bit sad since the LOTR saga is transformed well to brick-world. I gave 4/5 because I am a LOTR fan, 3/5 for regular players.
LEGO: Lord Of The Rings is a very good price and a good game.
LEGO: Lord Of The Rings is an awesome game with epic co-op play, and for this price it is a must buy for every LOTR or LEGO fan.
There's allways been something charming about the lego games that keeps me coming back and lord of the rings is no different, with the voice content similar to DC batman it makes it a great and fun title, essential to any lego fan
LEGO: Lord Of The Rings has proved to be really fun and long-lasting (particularly in light of the many secrets and countless secret characters to unlock). Quests are very affordable (infinite lives and respawn immediately!), and controls are simple and intuitive. The challenge is, as always, very low, but the story is really intriguing and well told, and the humor that permeates the Lego productions will once again tantalise even the most grown up of you.
Right first thing - I'm too old for LEGO: Lord Of The Rings. I really shouldn't be playing it but it's great fun, you can revisit all the areas and scenes you'd want to from the film trilogy and it has bucket loads of charm. If you know the films and like the Lego games you'll likely love this. I'm marking it down to four stars because of the re-occurring issues these Lego series have - difficult platforming (well not strictly difficult, but difficultly in judging distance), pure button mashing combat and a requirement for boss battles to be handled in an exact certain way and no other. If they could fix these things then this would definitely be a classic game, as it is it's just very, very good. Have fun!
Great game. Entertaining and fun. The quest system is great.
