Dragon Age: Inquisition

after playing this game all the way to completion, i thought i'd write a quick couple of bullet points to highlight the good & bad things about this game and then do a quick summary. bad points, boring to play. just hold down R2 & your character attacks. press an action button to do a special move, wait for it to regenerate then repeat. no tactical involvement. you have barely no input into what your other party members will do so it is a huge let down on that front. dragon age games are always geared for you to be a rogue but playing as a weedy, girly coward doesn't appeal to me. only 3 specialisations! good points game world is far larger so there is a bit to run around in. I've never been more disappointed with a game in my life as you'd think after the abuse they got for dragon age 2, they would've listened to what people wanted. dragon age 1 is superior to this in every aspect & that is what surprises me the most. I even preferred playing dragon age 2 to this as the combat is just so dull. i've seen a lot of high reviews for this game so maybe i am the odd one out but hey, i just want a game that plays well, provides a good challenge & takes me ages to complete. This game did none of those things. what i can say about this game though is you can see what they were trying to achieve with a game that has more scope & scale so maybe dragon age 4 might be something special. they just need to accept not everyone wants to play as a rogue & maybe get someone in to play test it! people will buy this game due to the ridiculous review scores & the fact that dragon age 1 was such an amazing title but i can guarantee all those people will be disappointed!

I have so far spent about 5hours playing dragon age. Really enjoying well worth buying, some minor clipping and draw distance issues which will hopefully be cleared up by with a few updates. Well worth the purchase.

This game is excellent. Im not usually the one to play RPGs however this one was worthy of a buy. The graphics are superb and despite having a slightly hard to follow narrative it still delivers excellence in every play through. I can see this game having a lengthy play time but I am happy to sit and play this game to the end

loads to do and many side quest and missions so this is great value from a price to gameplay view point only thing that let this down for me was zavvi taking 2 weeks to deliver it (wasnt dispatched till 11 days after i ordered it)

Been wanting to play a good rpg for some time now and this is amazing! I wanted something like Fable and Kingdoms of Amalur - Reckoning. But couldn't find an open world rpg I could get engaged in, well until this beauty came along. Graphics, story and the hours of content you get for your money is fantastic. If you likes games like Fable, Fable 2, Kingdoms of Amalur and WOW with the exploring, crafting etc then u will love this game! 9/10
