This made a fine addition to my Black Series collection
Ok let me start by saying that I LOVE hasbro. Right from their massively extensive marvel legends line (I own at LEAST 250 ML) to their limited releases of ghostbusters. And of course the Star Wars black series which leads me to this review. For starters the facial likenesses on the more recent figures, whether that be the Star Wars BS or the MCU figures are leaps and bounds over how they used to be. I would say that although they have always made cool action figures the likenesses of certain characters have been hit and miss in the past. But now we have mainly hits and zero misses! This particular action figure of obi wan kenobi from the recent tv series is most definitely a HIT. Articulation has always been a high point and this action figure is no different. Sure it’s not as articulated as say a Spider-Man figure who’s depicted wearing spandex and super acrobatic (even more than a Jedi) but still the posing capabilities are huge and suit any types of display 🤟🕸️ As mentioned the likeness on this figure is also a major hit and is very much worth the money. Accessories include a lightsaber which has great detailing and also you get the little ladybird looking droid that little Leah carries everywhere 👌 If you’re a fan of Star Wars or the show in particular you NEED this action figure!
I'm not a collector of all the star wars black series ranges available but I collect The Mandalorian and Obi-Wan figures, I've got to say I all the ones I have are great and this is a great example of the Obi-wan character.
A good likeness of kenobi, the star wars black series range have done a great job with this figure & the great price from Zavvi makes this a must to any collector.
