Second Doctor

The Second Doctor was more playful than his predecessor. His whimsical air hid darker characteristics and a sharp mind. The previous trips throughout earth's history gave way to adventures on besieged Moonbases, encounters with Martian Ice Warriors, Space Pirates, and the introduction of the emotionless Cybermen. It was when he was put on trial by his own people - The Time Lords of Gallifrey - for interference, that the Second Doctor was forced to regenerate.
